Help is needed at the PJ District Penitential Service at SIC @ 7.30pm on Thursday March 8, 2012

All HMs, please be there to help if you can.

If there is anyone who can arrive early and take charge as the HM Leader, please inform Raymond

Should you all be attending and be able to assist during the Penitential Service on Thursday 08/03/12, please ensure that there should not be any double parking. If parking lots are full within the church compound, all late comers are required to park outside and not double park and block the early comers/leavers.

Lenten Blood Donation Campaign

Please support the forthcoming Lenten Blood Donation Campaign, details as follows:

Calendar Cards 2012

The SIC Calendar Cards 2012, to be given to Newcomers during Welcoming are now ready and available in the HM pigeon hole in front of the old church office. Only limited quantity is available. Please give sparingly. What we have will need to last us the whole of 2012!

Hospitality Ministry Room

The Hospitality Ministry will now occupy a room located inside the old/previous parish office.

With immediate effect, the folowing items will be stored in the HM Room:

1. Collection Sticks


2. Sashes


3. Welcome Cards


4. Collection Bag Straps


5. Guide to Confession leaflet (for Penitential Service)

A rack for hanging up the sashes after use will be purchased shortly.

The following signage will be put up on the door to the HM Room:

Ash Wednesday - February 22, 2012

There will be NO Collection at the Ash Wednesday Masses on February 22, 2012 at the following times:

6.30am
1.00pm
6.00pm

However, volunteer HM Leaders are still needed to monitor communion and the imposition of ashes.

The imposition of ashes will be for the altar servers and communion ministers first but the congregation will receive the ashes like in previous years at the end of the mass when final hymn is being sung.

February 12th - Feast Day of St Julian Hospitaller, Patron Saint of Hospitality Ministers

2nd Collection at all Masses on 28th & 29th January 2012

There will be a Second Collection at ALL Masses during the weekend of Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th January 2012 for the Migrant Ministry under the Archdiocese Office of Human Development (AOHD).

2nd Collections at weekend Masses for the Migrant Ministry under the Archdiocese Office of Human Development (AOHD) are held on months where there is a 5th week for the month.

The schedule for the next 2nd collection at weekend Masses for the Migrant Ministry under the Archdiocese Office of Human Development (AOHD) is as follows:
